Hollow synergy

This piece is a reflection on the condition of modern society.
We live in big cities, surrounded by people every day but it seems that we are lonelier than ever before. Number of people with depression rises, especially during the winter season (seasonal affective disorder).
Both loneliness and depression are invisible and this was a trigger to create this concept – installation of contrasts – of visible and invisible, a dialog between I and WE. The aim is to discern other points of view. Through the creation of transparent mirror layers and operating with light we can reveal the invisible, or in other cases hide the visible.
